Here’s the plan. Feel free to customise it to match your interests.

    Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech

Your 5 days begin with a warm welcome at Marrakech Menara Airport. Our local guide accompanies you to your riad, where you can check in and settle. With the rest of the day free, explore Marrakech’s vibrant atmosphere — a visit to the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the city’s bustling heart, offers a glimpse of its lively ambiance. Consider dinner at one of the square’s restaurants before returning to your riad for a restful night.

Day 2: Marrakech -> High Atlas Mountains -> Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah -> Ouarzazate -> Dades Valley

We pick you up from your riad and leave the city, travelling south-east across the scenic High Atlas Mountains. Along the way you’ll see charming Berber villages and stop at picturesque viewpoints for photos.

Enjoy lunch at Ait Ben Haddou village, a UNESCO-listed treasure famed for its ancient Kasbah — a “fortified village” that has served as a backdrop for films like Prince of Persia, Gladiator, and the series Game of Thrones.

After a brief stop in Ouarzazate, home to Africa’s largest studio (optional visit), we continue towards the Dades Gorge, passing the Valley of Roses. In the Dades Valley, marvel at the “monkey fingers” rock formations and a panoramic view of the gorge and valley before your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Dades Valley -> Todra Canyon -> Merzouga desert

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then traverse the landscapes along the Dades and Todra Rivers, dotted with palm groves and Berber settlements, to the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge in Tinghir.

On the way to the Merzouga desert, your driver/guide will suggest a traditional Berber shop, where you can try on traditional outfits and take photos at no cost. Any purchase (scarves, souvenirs) is optional — just let your guide know to skip it.

Arriving in Merzouga, set off on a camel ride into the heart of the desert, watch the captivating sunset over the dunes, and try sandboarding. As night falls, retreat to a luxury desert camp for a tasty dinner and the enchanting magic of the desert beneath a starlit sky.

Day 4: Merzouga desert -> Agdez -> High Atlas Mountains -> Marrakech

After breakfast at your desert camp, we return to Marrakech through the scenic Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest. We’ll pause in Agdez for a panoramic view of the valley and its palm trees.

We’ll stop in Ouarzazate for lunch, then cross the High Atlas Mountains once more back to Marrakech, dropping you at your riad.

    Day 5: Explore Marrakech

Begin your final day with breakfast at your riad. Our friendly local guide will show you Marrakech’s best attractions, sharing stories about landmarks like Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the Koutoubia Mosque.

After lunch, stroll through the modern side of Marrakech and explore the exquisite Majorelle Garden, a serene retreat in the heart of the city.

If your flight departs today, we’ll provide a smooth airport transfer, concluding your enriching 5 days Marrakech itinerary.
