    7 days Morocco Tour

    Here’s the plan. Feel free to customise it to match your interests.

    Day 1: Casablanca -> Rabat

    Welcome to Morocco! Your 7-day itinerary begins with a warm meet-and-greet at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca by your friendly local guide.

    From there, we travel to the Hassan II Mosque, one of Morocco’s most impressive architectural wonders, where you can admire the intricate tilework, carved marble, and stunning oceanfront setting. Its minaret is among the tallest in the world.

    After the mosque, we continue to Rabat, the capital, where you’ll visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas, both steeped in history and culture. We end the day at your accommodation in Rabat to relax and recharge.

    If you arrive at night, we’ll take you straight to your hotel in Casablanca so you can rest before the tour begins the next day.

    Day 2: Rabat -> Chefchaouen

    After a delicious breakfast, we head towards Chefchaouen, a beautiful town in the Rif Mountains of northern Morocco. The roughly four-hour drive passes stunning landscapes of rolling hills and picturesque villages.

    On arrival, check in at your hotel/riad and enjoy some free time to explore the city and its famous blue-painted streets. Wander the narrow alleys of the Medina, visit the lively souks, or relax at a café or restaurant serving delicious Moroccan cuisine. Bring your camera for all the beautiful sights.

    Day 3: Chefchaouen -> Volubilis -> Meknes -> Fes

    After breakfast, the day begins with a scenic drive through picturesque Rif villages before arriving at Volubilis, once a Roman city. Explore the ruins and learn its fascinating history — Volubilis is known for well-preserved mosaics and grand public buildings dating back to the 3rd century.

    Next, we head to Meknes, a 17th-century city that was once Morocco’s capital. After lunch, we visit the Medina, home to the famous Bab el Mansour gate with its detailed designs and beautiful carvings, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, dedicated to the famous sultan.

    After a day exploring Volubilis and Meknes, we head to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a beautiful riad.

    Day 4: Guided full-day tour of Fes

    Today, set out on a full-day tour with a local guide to explore Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and its cultural and religious centre.

    Start at the Royal Palace gate, then lose yourself in the maze-like alleys of the medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll visit Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Chouara Tanneries, admiring the stunning architecture and intricate detail.

    Continue to the Jewish quarter (the Mellah) to learn about the history of the Jewish community in Fes, then head to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of the Medina before returning to your riad.

     Day 5: Fes -> Ifrane -> Middle Atlas Mountains -> Ziz Valley -> Merzouga desert

    After breakfast at your riad, we head south towards Merzouga. We stop briefly in Ifrane to take in the scenery, then continue to a cedar forest in the Middle Atlas to watch Barbary macaques. Lunch is at a restaurant along the way before we continue to the Ziz Valley, known for its palm oasis.

    In the afternoon, we reach the desert and begin an authentic camel caravan across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, stopping to watch a golden sunset from a high dune before continuing to your luxury camp.

    On arrival, you’re shown to your private tent to relax and freshen up. After a delicious dinner, gather around a bonfire under the starry sky while the camp staff play drums and sing Berber music — and you can learn to play the drums too.

    Day 6: Merzouga desert -> Rissani -> Todra Gorge -> Dades Gorge

    An early wake-up is highly recommended to catch a spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, leave the camp by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga town, where your driver is waiting for the next leg to the Dades Gorge.

    Along the way, explore places like the traditional market in Rissani (open on Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday) and stroll through the breathtaking Todra Gorge, taking in views of the Todra River. Continuing towards the Dades Gorge, be astonished by the rock formations resembling monkey fingers, then enjoy a panoramic drive along the Dades Valley before arriving at your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

    Day 7: Dades Gorge -> Ouarzazate -> Ait Ben Haddou -> High Atlas Mountains -> Marrakech

    On the final day, we drive to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa” and “Gateway to the Desert,” where you can optionally visit the Atlas Studios, Morocco’s largest film studio, to explore famous film sets.

    We then continue to Ait Ben Haddou to visit its renowned Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in films such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Take your time to admire the detailed architecture and ornate decoration.

    After lunch, we cross the High Atlas Mountains with magnificent views along the way, arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon to conclude your Morocco itinerary 7 days.
